Bigu Village in Dolkha

I'm headed out to Bigu tomorrow morning so I will not be in touch until I get back from Kathmandu...depending on the timing, I might be able to upload some photos before I leave for Boston, but maybe not. It will take about 11 hours in a bus and then a one to two day hike up over a couple of large hills to reach Bigu. I've heard that the hike is really beautiful and I'm very much looking forward to it. There is a Buddhist monastery in Bigu where I will be teaching English and working in the garden. There will be children as well as adult nuns there for me to teach. I will wake up at 4am and participate in a puja before breakfast and teaching. In the afternoon I will help in the garden or by doing other chores. Then there will be a meditation before dinner. And I'll probably go to bed as soon as the sun sets. I can't wait!!!
